Privacy policy
Last updated: 6 October 2026
SystemVerilog Studio is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Who operates SystemVerilog Studio
SystemVerilog Studio is operated by Levses Limited, the controller of the personal data this policy describes. Levses Limited is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 11985396, with its registered office at 27 Old Gloucester Street, Bloomsberry, London, WC1N 3AX, United Kingdom.
Information we collect
- Personal Information: Name, email, phone number, and other identifying details.
- Usage Data: IP address, browser type, and interaction data.
- Payment Information: Processed securely through third-party services.
Licences are bought on JetBrains Marketplace, which processes the payment.
How we use your data
- Provide, maintain, and improve SystemVerilog Studio services.
- Send updates, newsletters, and important service notifications.
- Assist with customer support inquiries.
Processors and your IP address
Your IP address is processed for security and abuse prevention: the evaluation, team request and feature request forms send it to Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person is using the form, and a keyed hash of it is used for the request limits in AWS. AWS, the hosting provider of this site, processes your IP address to deliver the pages. The posts of the blog and their images are provided by Sanity.
Evaluation codes
When you request an evaluation code, your email address, the name and company you enter, your product-news choice, the time of the request and whether a code was sent are recorded in HubSpot. The code is sent to you by email through Amazon SES; the code itself is not stored in HubSpot.
When HubSpot is unavailable, the contact details are held in AWS until they are pushed to HubSpot, and in any case removed about 30 days later. Backups keep deleted items for up to 35 days. Otherwise the table of codes holds only a keyed hash of the email address, never the address itself.
If your address was submitted without your consent, write to Hello@SystemVerilogStudio.com to have the record deleted. Support deletes the HubSpot contact; the link between the address and its code is kept so that no second code is issued to that address.
Team requests
When you send a team request, the email address, name, company, team size, the message (if you write one) and your product-news choice are stored in HubSpot and, only when HubSpot is unavailable, in AWS for about 30 days until they reach HubSpot. The owner of SystemVerilog Studio is notified by email so that you get a reply. These details are used to answer your request and to follow up with you about SystemVerilog Studio for your team. The legal basis is legitimate interest: answering the people who contact SystemVerilog Studio and offering them the product they asked about. You can object at any time by writing to Hello@SystemVerilogStudio.com; the follow-up then stops and your record is deleted. Product news is sent only if you tick the box. The HubSpot record and the notification email are deleted 12 months after your last contact with SystemVerilog Studio, or earlier when you ask. No email is sent to the address in the form.
Feature requests
When you send a feature request, the email address, name, company (if you enter one), the area you choose, the text of the request and of the workaround (if you write one), and your product-news choice are stored in HubSpot and, only when HubSpot is unavailable, in AWS for about 30 days until they reach HubSpot. The owner of SystemVerilog Studio is notified by email. These details are used to consider and answer your request and to follow up with you about SystemVerilog Studio. No email is sent to the address in the form, and feature requests are not published.
Product news
If you tick "Send me product news" on a form of this site, your email address is subscribed to SystemVerilog Studio product news in HubSpot, the email provider of SystemVerilog Studio, with a record of your consent (the form and the time). Every news email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe at any time by writing to Hello@SystemVerilogStudio.com. An unticked box never subscribes you and never changes an earlier choice.
Accounts
Accounts created earlier through the former account pages of this site are held in Amazon Cognito with your email address, your first and last name, a password and, if you entered them, your phone number, job title and company. New accounts can no longer be created. The email address and name of these accounts are also kept as a contact in HubSpot, so that SystemVerilog Studio can contact you about your evaluation and the product; you can ask for them to be deleted at any time by writing to Hello@SystemVerilogStudio.com. Accounts are being retired: evaluation codes no longer need one.
Data protection rights
You have the right to access, update, or request deletion of your personal data. You can also opt out of receiving marketing communications.
Security and data retention
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Personal information is retained for as long as necessary to provide our services or comply with legal obligations.
